Quincy’s Golf & Social Targets February Opening in Gaithersburg
Permanent signage is now up at Quincy’s Golf & Social at 245 Kentlands Blvd. in Gaithersburg, marking another visible step toward the opening of the country club-style restaurant, bar, and golf venue in the former Not Your Average Joe’s space.
Quincy’s Golf & Social is targeting a February opening. As previously reported, there are no current plans to close the original Quincy’s Bar & Grill at 616 Quince Orchard Road. Ownership believes both locations can coexist successfully, citing the distinct concepts and audiences for each space.
The expansion came together after Quincy’s was approached by a golf professional who will operate the golf side of the business. The venue will utilize the Trackman system for games, lessons, practice, and training. Trackman will also support leagues that allow players to compete against golfers across the country and around the world, similar to offerings found at established indoor golf venues in other cities. Quincy’s Golf & Social will also allow customers to match up against its own members.
The space is designed to appeal to non-golfers as well. Quincy’s Golf & Social will feature a full-service restaurant and bar, with weekday breakfast service and a “heavy brunch” planned for weekends. The drink menu will expand to include new cocktails and a higher-end wine selection, while a Boar’s Head deli will be part of the concept. Dinner offerings will include steak, seafood, pasta, and additional options.
Leagues, memberships, club fittings, and private lessons are all planned. The venue will also offer a private simulator area for businesses and organizations looking to host team-building events or private gatherings. Each simulator station will include couches and TVs for watching games or communicating with opponents, with the ability to switch between a driving range and simulated courses from around the world.
